In a remote village near Dharampur, where access to medical care is extremely limited, Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Seva Samiti organized a free health camp as part of its ongoing mission to serve economically weaker communities. Many villagers had been silently suffering from untreated conditions due to lack of resources. Among them was 62-year-old Kamlaben, who had been gradually losing her vision due to cataracts but had no means to afford treatment.
During the camp, Kamlaben underwent a free eye check-up and was referred for cataract surgery under the organization’s partnership program. Within days.
This health camp not only gave Kamlaben a new lease on life but also provided free medical check-ups, medicines, over 1,000 villagers. Through initiatives like these, Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Seva Samiti continues to bring hope, health, and dignity to underserved communities—one life at a time.
